1846 (12 Dec). Islas de JUAN FERNANDEZ. E.L. addressed to Mudville, Conn / USA, written "On board the ship Spitfire" with long description of these islands, which they had visited. An extremely scarce early reference of these Pacific Islands.

1856 (28 March). From Santiago with 2nd London Print 5c. brown-red/blued (clear print), superb with good to huge margins, showing portion of adjacent stamp at right, cedntrally cancelled and showing bold despatch c.d.s. in red, staining along filing creas

1856 (21 Sep.). From Coquimbo E. with 2nd London printing 5c. light red-brown/blued horizontal strip of three with mainly clear to large margins 1st and 2nd stamps touched at foot, lightly cancelled and showing despatch c.d.s. alongside. Sc. 8.

1859 (21 June). Valparaiso to Santiago with Post Office 5c. dull reddish brown (Sc. 9c) very fine with good to large margins and light cancellation and another example also very fine on E. to Santiago.
